AI Ready dla MŚP

3 workshops, about 115 participants

Three-hour AI workshops in smaller towns, in Econverse's programme supported by Amazon. I led three, from complete beginners to agent systems, for about 115 people in Opalenica and Wałbrzych.

Workshop lead · May 2026 – Oct 2026

A full hall of about fifty people at long green tables, facing a projected slide about AI tools.

Overview

AI Ready for SMEs is an Econverse programme, supported by Amazon, in which young AI practitioners run workshops at local chambers of commerce and business organisations. I was one of three workshop leads in the first edition and the only one in Opalenica, where I worked with Paweł Cybal, president of the Opalenica Chamber of Commerce.

The challenge

Most small firms in Poland do not use AI yet, and owners say the obstacle is less a lack of interest than a lack of time and skills to start. Expert-led training rarely reaches smaller towns.

Each workshop lasted three hours with one 15-minute break. Filling that with material that stays useful, for audiences from complete beginners to people building automations, was the real challenge.

How it went

  1. My first AI workshop for entrepreneurs

Three hours of AI in business for about 50 business owners in Opalenica, in Econverse's AI Ready programme supported by Amazon. Two more followed in October, in Opalenica and Wałbrzych.

  2. Opalenica: AI from the basics

Open to everyone. About 50 people.

Opalenica, 13 October 2026: AI from the basics, open to everyone.
  3. Wałbrzych: agent systems and automation

For entrepreneurs, intermediate to advanced. About 15 people.

Wałbrzych, 15 October 2026: agent systems and automation for entrepreneurs.

What we did

Opalenica, May 2026: AI in business, for entrepreneurs. About 50 people, most of them older business owners.

Opalenica, October 2026: AI from the basics, open to everyone. The best tools and the biggest result for the least effort. About 50 people again.

Wałbrzych, October 2026: intermediate to advanced, for entrepreneurs. Coding with AI, building agent systems and using agent pipelines to automate processes. About 15 people.

Outcomes

About 115 people across three workshops. The rooms were active and asked a lot of questions, and several participants wrote to me afterwards with follow-up questions.

The first edition of the programme reached 149 entrepreneurs across Wielkopolska, Western Pomerania and Lower Silesia. A fourth workshop in Opalenica is planned for November 2026.

Lessons

Three hours of mostly talking is a lot. What kept the room was showing practical things people could use straight away, and letting their questions steer the session.
